The Documentary Institute of South Africa (DISA) promotes the study and production of documentary films. Its courses create a framework for the creation of long and short industry-standard documentaries. We strive to tell gripping stories that have a meaningful impact on both our diverse nation and the international community.
Based in Cape Town, South Africa, we boast a range of local and international experts who are experienced in the field of documentary film.
Our courses are designed to achieve balance between the intellectual and practical sides of documentary filmmaking.
