DOCI - Emerging filmmakers programme

The DOCi Emerging Filmmakers Programme NPC is an adjunct non-profit company that sponsors the tuition fees for filmmakers, especially young people of colour who have no access to the fee-paying film schools, by direct sponsorship and through charitable funding of the Institute itself.

 

In addition to covering the cost of tuition and equipment, DOCi provides a stipend to cover transport for the students, without which many of them would be unable to attend classes.

 

DOCi is primarily funded by the American Consulate in Cape Town and the American Corner, Cape Town.
